Meditation, a training appropriate for everyone, but specially those folks with hectic, stressful lifestyles, means an engagement in contemplation, especially of a spiritual or devotional nature. Meditation may relieve stress, and promote overall a sound body, through reflecting upon our day, and finding happiness within ourselves. This and other mind exercises allow us to to keep our mind fit, and functioning at top performance levels. But before the last twenty years, meditation was something the west new little about. Is it needed for our health? And have we just come up with a new fad, to fill up the empty hours individuals day?
